Our Roverchase Raisers are volunteer team of individuals who provide a "home base" for our puppies during their 18 months of training. The Overview:Volunteer to help raise life changing service dogs to help individuals with disabilities chase their dreams!
The Roverchase Puppy Raising program is a commitment up to 18 months to help our purpose bred service dogs from 8 weeks old until graduation learn how to be wonderful house pets and companions while they complete their specialized Service Dog Training with the Roverchase Professional Service Dog Trainers. |
Your Commitment:
Location: Ability to drive to Pelham, AL for all training - a minimum of once to twice a week
Duration: 16-18 months
Financial: $0.00, we cover all veterinary and food expenses as well as providing training equipment and training classes
Assignment: Provide a loving "home-base" to our service dogs in training ranging in ages from 8 weeks to 18 months
How we support you: Our team of professional trainers will provide all your education including orientation, weekly group classes, and daily support via video and text messages. Additionally, when you travel, we will always welcome our pups in for boarding on-the-house, so no need to worry about not having support during those times as well
Your time commitment:
Option 1: Have a puppy in your home Monday-Friday and drop the puppy off for school every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 7am-9am and pick them up between 3pm-6pm. Attend one group class per week. Your duties at home are to love the puppy and by reinforcing it's learning from school in crate training, potty training, and basic obedience skills. Let it snuggle with you on the couch and experience lots of positive experiences in your home and with your family.
Option 2: Have a puppy in your home Friday-Sunday and attend one group class per week. Your duties at home are to be a "weekend family" and love and support the puppy in it's learning from school by reinforcing its skills in crate training, potty training, and basic obedience skills. Enjoy your snuggles and provide lots of positive experiences in your home and with your family.
Option 3: Have a puppy in your home 7 days a week. Drop the puppy off for school every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 7am-9am and pick them up between 3pm-6pm. Attend one group class per week. Your duties at home are to love the puppy and by reinforcing it's learning from school in crate training, potty training, and basic obedience skills. Let it snuggle with you on the couch and experience lots of positive experiences in your home and with your family.

Roverchase Raisers have three skill sets based on the education and experience our professional service dog trainers provide for you free of charge! There is no pressure to move on from Green Level, but if you would like to go for the Gold we would be more than happy to help you get there!! All levels of Roverchase Raisers are equally important to the success of these outstanding Service Dog Heroes
Green Level
